reasons to love
Ocracoke is a more worldly place than it once was. The buffet also included couscous, tabbouli and falafel, though I think a lot of people mistook the falafel for hush puppies.
If that doesn't make you happy, picture this: two long tables were devoted to home baked desserts. I ate dessert first. Life is indeed good.

I think I once had a dog named 'Falafel" . . . or was it 'Farfel'?
There are always some surprises too; people to meet, like the new doctor or school teacher, or somebody’s out of town relatives here for a visit. Usually pot lucks just kinda happen, but sometimes there are special events like the ‘January Birthdays pot-luck’ or the ‘some-sort of solstice’ pot-luck.
Thankfulness to my dad who informed me relating to this blog, this website is really amazing.
